100 Days of Scouting: Day 52, Another Crossover Ceremony

Day 52, Thursday, March 31st.

Today was a busy day. Things were busy at work, but luckily I had time to answer several Scouting related emails.

After work Tommy and I went to a Cub Scout crossover ceremony. Before the ceremony started I took a couple of minutes to tell the Cub Scouts what the Order of the Arrow was and told them that when they cross over into Boy Scouts they too could work hard and be elected into OA and that if they wanted to, they could join the ceremony team as well. The ceremony went well. The team of boys that performed the ceremony have done several ceremonies together and always do a great job when working together.

After the ceremony was over we all had some ice cream. What more could you ask for!

Tonight was a fun night. I love watching the ceremony team do the Arrow of Light and the Crossing Over Ceremonies.

That's my Scouting for today.

Have a great day and remember to keep your Scouting fun
